The dry deciduous forest ou the both side of Mangoky river which are dominated by perhaps the largest baobab forest in the world save the wildlife in South west region of the island with no road north or south of the river.

So, this Mangoky river is the first national river because of the vast enexploited area along  the river where  we can see fauna and flora include lemurs (verreaux’s sifaka, red-frouted and ring-tailed), birds and crocodiles. This calm river brings the visitors to the sand beaches for  camping and let them make visit into the forest.

The national park baie de baly and tsingy de Namoroka are amongst the youngest national park in Madagascar and rich with lemurs, birds and specialy the ploughshare turtles (Angonoka). Tsingy de Namoroka is strict natura reserve where you will find out its amazing associated canyous and its forest around the tsingy save a beautiful wildlife (birdlife, plants, lemurs).

Baie de baly is a reserve which save the Angonoka (ploughshare turtles), lemurs, birdlife because of the forest and beaches covered with mangroves. It has a wonderful and peaceful place for camping and relaxing next to the beach and forest where you can do the nocturne walk.
